Our Range
We aim to have the widest range of American, Canadian and South American yarn brands available in Australia. Our prices are very close to US retail so you can be confident that buying from us will be a much more economical option for your next project. A full list of the brands we carry can be found on our "Our Brands" page.
How to find what you need
To order, simply choose a major category, for example, "YARNS". Under each category is a range of options, for example in the "Yarns" category, you might like to choose "100% wool". Our yarns are then listed under their brand name, for example, "Patons Classic Merino Wool".
All the colours/products we have in-stock and ready to ship are listed as "IN STOCK" next to the product name. Anything that you can order from us is listed as "PRE-ORDER" next to the product name. In this way we can offer you a huge selection of yarns but not have to stock all brands and all colours at once.
What does "Pre-Order" and "In Stock" mean?
Pre-Orders take about 1 week to 2 weeks to arrive, except in the case of Lorna's Laces which can take up to 8 weeks as these are dyed-to-order. To see the colours available in these pre-order yarns, simply click on the product, for example, "Patons Organic Cotton" and you will see a blue box that says 'select'. Click on this and a list of colours will show - select the colour you want and a colour swatch will then be seen on the left of the screen - it's that easy!
In-stock items can simply be added to the shopping cart and then checkout as per usual.
What payment options do you offer?
Our website is set-up to process payments securely via PayPal - the company owned and managed by EBay. Their website is extrememly secure and your credit card data is never seen or stored by us. After you finish the checkout process on my site, you are automatically redirected to PayPal - there you will be asked to enter your credit card info or pay with your PayPal account if you have one.
If you don't feel comfortable paying through PayPal, our office can be reached Wednesday to Friday, 9 am to 4pm and Saturday, 9am to 1pm - AEST. We have an EFTPOS machine setup to take payments over the phone.
Alternatively we offer bank deposit, money order or cheque. Please allow extra time for shipment of your order if you choose to pay by these methods. After you complete your order, simply click out of PayPal and contact us to be given our bank details for your deposit. You will also be contacted by us if no payment is attached to your order.
How do you ship my order?
If you live in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Ipswich or Toowoomba, your order will be sent via Fastway Couriers. If you live in other areas of Australia, we use Australia Post. Large items such as knitting machines get sent via Courier when possible otherwise by Registered Post - Australia Post.
Orders are processed within 24-48 hours, except weekends.
